Future Leaders
Learning is the consumption and application of information in an attempt to build new skills. In the workplace this is essential at any level, from individual contributors and managers, all the way up to the strongest executives.
Learning means practice, it means making mistakes and in no way does it mean perfection. We try to fit learning into professional goal setting, but the truth is learning is something that needs to come from the individuals personal desire to grow.
That pursuit of knowledge, the habits that craft strong leaders starts way before we enter the work place. Parents, teachers, families and communities are shaping tomorrow’s leaders today. Kids are watching us, learning from us and without realizing it building skills that will be applied when they find themselves in a position to lead other people.
